Our Answers to the 10 Questions
#1: WE NEVER over-book receptions or hire sub-contractors! A- In all our years we have never subcontracted an event! When you book our service, you get us, no exceptions. A- If we can't perform at your reception, for some unforeseen reason, we will offer you a full refund. We believe wedding receptions should be done personally, by someone you know and trust. We actually turn people away when they want our services for a date that is already taken. We also love to show them our contract where it states that they are entitled to all of their money back, including the non-refundable deposit, in the unlikely event that we are unable to perform.
#2: I take my commitment to your wedding very seriously. A- I spend many hours during the week planning for YOUR reception. A- I always meet with you at your convenience. A- I always return your phone calls and e-mails promptly. I will return your calls right away and always make you feel like you are my highest priority. I will show up to get ready for your reception at least two hours early. And, if I am helping with your wedding ceremony, I will come to your rehearsal as well. If you hire me, I, and my DJ's, will be your employees. Finally, you can count on us to do a fantastic job because this is our passion.
#3: I always meet with you in person to help you plan your reception! A- I prefer to meet with you at your home, or at the reception site to save you time. A- I usually meet with you 2 to 3 times or more, if needed. A- I will help you plan your reception so that every detail will be exactly how you want it. I usually meet with my clients at least two or three times, before the wedding day, to help you plan out all the details. This also gives us a chance to get to know each other better. Having all the details planned and decided on in advance is the best way for me to fulfill your expectations for your wedding reception. It also relieves the tension that is caused by worrying about how all the details are going to work out. When all of the planning has been finished, you can breathe a sigh of relief because then all you will have to do is show up at your reception and enjoy the moment.
#4: I can always help coordinate your entire reception with you! A- I have a detailed checklist, which helps us to ensure that your reception will flow smoothly. A- I am always willing to work with the other vendors and we do our best to keep them informed. A- I will always get your permission before making any changes to your reception plan. Whether you have a professional wedding coordinator at your reception or not, I will use our detailed checklist to make sure that the catering staff, photographer, videographer and the wedding party are informed and ready every step of the way. This will enable us to work together as a team whose only goal will be to provide you with the best reception possible. This will also help to prevent any minor mishaps that could cause the reception to come to a halt. I have years of experience in coordinating wedding receptions.
#5: There are several things that make our services unique! A- I have an entire list of creative ideas for customizing and personalizing your reception. A- It is my goal and purpose to keep your guests' attention on you, where it belongs. A- I always incorporate your ideas with the personality and style you desire. Our purpose at your reception is to run the event, entertain your guests, and help in any other way we can. We are definitely not the "star of the show" at your reception. We will be helping your guests remember that this is your moment in the sun. We do offer several unique features that no other Disc Jockey services are currently offering, and we would be happy to share these ideas with you at our first appointment. My desire is to fill your hearts and minds with pleasant memories that will last you both a lifetime.
#6: I have Company Standards that absolutely govern our behavior! A- Click here to see our Company Standards. A- We believe that our standards will exceed your expectations. When you hire my company, you will be getting professional entertainers who recognize that their actions and words can have a direct impact on the success or failure of your reception. Our list of standards will tell you exactly what you can expect from us. This will give you peace of mind, because you won't have to be concerned about being embarrassed by any inappropriate behavior. We take our very standards seriously.
#7: I am an active member in the ADJA and DAME. A- My company joined the American Disc Jockey Association and Dakota Association of Mobile Entertainers to learn new Techniques to improve our services. A- We are listed on the National ADJA web page (www.adja.org). I am committed to learning, growing and improving my skills and services that I provide my clients.
#8: There are never any hidden charges! A- I never charge extra for basic equipment such as a cordless microphone or lighting. A- There are never any additional charges for planning meetings. A- I always buy any additional music we may need for your reception at no extra cost to you. Our pricing packages include all of the regular services we will be providing and they will be clearly spelled out for you at our first consultation. Speakers and a larger light show are never an extra charge! The only additional costs you may have to consider are: Paying for overtime if the party is going so well that you don't want it to stop, and paying for travel costs (if your wedding it outside the Bismarck/Mandan Area).
#9: We have a very wide base of entertainment experience to draw from! A- Our entertainment background includes acting, singing, teaching, and working in a studio setting. A- We are constantly working with each other and other Disc Jockeys to improve our entertainment skills. A- We are very experienced at "reading the crowd" to maintain their attention or to keep them dancing. I am continuously seeking to improve our skills as entertainers so that we can confidently provide you with the highest quality reception entertainment available. I believe that in order to stay fresh and current I need to be willing to learn new things and change or throw out old things that just don't work any more. The last thing I want to deliver is a tired out performance that has been used with the same lines and the same songs for years. This helps me to ensure that every wedding reception will always be fresh, new and entertaining.
#10: We have the skills to deliver announcements that are always clear and direct! A- We have years of public speaking experience outside of Mobile Disc Jockey work. A- Our announcements are always direct and to the point, so all your guests will be properly informed. We will use our vocal skills to capture your guest's attention, while introducing your "Grand Entrance", or announcing your "First Dance" and the "Cake Cutting". No one will miss a thing because we will speak clearly and directly every single time we get on the microphone. We also recognize that we are serving as your spokesperson and must represent you in a way that is both proper and fitting to your unique styles and personalities. |
